About
A brand designer gets to see the whole. That’s the part I love.
I’m Victor Osondu, an independent brand identity designer in Lagos, Nigeria. I love the work I do because as a brand designer, I get to see the whole: how your brand shows up on a storefront, an Instagram feed, a delivery box or a slide deck while still being undeniably you. I thrive in the space between being consistent and becoming monotonous.
Before I design anything, I study what a brand needs to communicate. For Joie Luxe Rentals, a luxury real estate brand, that meant studying how Aman, Rolex and Patek Philippe signal luxury, then building an identity around quiet restraint. For BOA Zerah, a Lagos enterprise spanning trade, energy and supply chain, the mark grew from the Hebrew meaning of its name: shining.
I also bring identities to life through motion. As Lead Graphic & Motion Designer at Mahadumia, I carried the Centratutor, JUPEB and JAMB brands into motion and app store visuals. I also work with Daughter of Ellen, a neurodiversity advocacy NGO, on branding for their events, plus digital products, presentation decks and animated social content.
Clients usually notice one thing about me first: I listen. It isn’t a technique, it’s just how I’m wired, and it’s how I hear what a busy founder hasn’t had time to notice. Joie Luxe came to me for a logo; listening is how we found the real problem.
Because I work independently, you work directly with me, from the first conversation to the final files. I’m currently taking on new brand identity projects.
